John Ho was quoted in Law360 discussing the challenges employers face when creating unpaid internships. But employers may be hard-pressed to develop a compliant and successful unpaid internship program right now with continued remote work arrangements and a tight labor market, said John. "It's going to be a practical challenge for employers to design unpaid internships," he said. "Quite frankly, people that are willing to pay either at minimum wage or in some instances significantly above minimum wage are still finding it tough to attract the right amount of people for their operations."
