PITTSBURGH, April 3, 2026 – Marla Presley, a member of Cozen O’Connor’s Labor and Employment Department, has been named a winner of the Pittsburgh Business Times’ 2026 Women of Influence Award.
The Pittsburgh Business Times’ Women of Influence Awards program honors businesswomen who drive impactful change in their organizations and across the region, and who are actively involved in their communities.
Marla focuses her practice on representing employers in complex wage-and-hour disputes, class and collective actions, and discrimination claims under state and federal law. She has a strong record of success, having prevailed in trials before juries and judges in both state and federal courts, and securing favorable outcomes in appeals before the United States Supreme Court, the Third and Fourth Circuit Courts of Appeal, the West Virginia Supreme Court, and various appellate courts in Pennsylvania. Beyond litigation, employers rely on Marla for day-to-day employment advice, including reviewing and revising employee policies, advising on termination decisions, and conducting human resource and wage audits. Marla also has extensive experience drafting a variety of employment agreements and regularly delivers comprehensive training to managers and supervisors on all facets of employment law, including supervisory skills, sexual harassment prevention, investigation procedures, and leave management. Marla has served in a number of leadership roles in the Allegheny County Bar Association and is an active volunteer in the Pittsburgh community.
