Matthew Catron

Associate

Matthew concentrates his practice on business litigation with experience in corporate restructuring and bankruptcy. Prior to joining the firm, Matthew served as a law clerk for the Honorable Rebecca Jennings of the U.S. District Court, Western District of Kentucky. Before that, he was an associate in the business reorganization and restructuring practice of a law firm in Wilmington, Delaware. There, he gained experience preparing for depositions, drafting and responding to dispositive motions, and preparing appeals.

Matthew earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Kentucky. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from William & Mary Law School, where he was the lead notes editor for the William & Mary Law Review. Throughout law school, Matthew concentrated his coursework on business law. He gained valuable experience as a judicial extern to the Honorable Lawrence Leonard of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia, and as a law clerk to the United States Election Assistance Commission.
