For more than 30 years, Steve has focused his practice on complex property loss subrogation litigation, helping insurers recover millions of dollars in losses arising from catastrophic fires, structural failures, water intrusions, construction and product defects, and other large-scale property damage events.
A recognized and accomplished trial attorney, Steve has built a distinguished reputation representing insurers in high-exposure subrogation matters throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. His extensive experience spans litigation in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, and the District of Columbia.
Over the course of his career, Steve has successfully litigated and tried numerous subrogation cases to verdict in both state and federal courts. Equally adept in the courtroom and at the negotiating table, he regularly employs mediation and other alternative dispute resolution strategies to achieve efficient, cost-effective resolutions, securing significant six- and seven-figure recoveries for his clients.
In addition to his legal practice, Steve has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to public service and community leadership. He has served as an arbitrator for the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas and as Delaware County's representative to the SEPTA Citizens Advisory Committee. His extensive civic involvement includes service on the boards of the Center for Resolutions, the Radnor Educational Foundation, and the Radnor Girls Crew Club. Steve also served as an elected School Director for the Radnor Township School District, including a term as board president, and previously held leadership roles with the Delaware County Intermediate Unit Board, Radnor Township Parks and Recreation, the Radnor Soccer Club, and Radnor Wayne Little League.
Steve earned his Juris Doctor from the College of William & Mary School of Law in 1992 and his Bachelor of Arts in English from Trinity College in 1987, where he competed as a member of the varsity heavyweight crew team.
A longtime resident of Philadelphia's Main Line, Steve lives with his wife, Sue. Together they have raised three daughters and are now enjoying the rewards of being grandparents.
