Benjamin focuses his practice on insurance litigation involving complex, high exposure cases. He has extensive experience defending carriers and policyholders against various product liability claims, including toxic tort, construction defect, and commercial general liability. He also represents clients in cases involving wrongful death, admiralty/maritime, subrogation defense, and coverage disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Benjamin practiced at an AM100 law firm in Los Angeles defending clients in complex civil matters involving toxic tort, environmental, and products liability claims. He also served as counsel for a Fortune 100 insurance company where he litigated hundreds of cases involving auto, premises, and products liability.
Benjamin earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management Economics from University of California, Santa Cruz, and his law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law with a certificate in Dispute Resolution. While in law school, Benjamin served as editor-in-chief of the Pepperdine Dispute Resolution Law Journal, president of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, and judicial extern for the Honorable Debre K. Weintraub of the Los Angeles Superior Court. He is fluent in Korean.
