Alex is a seasoned litigator who focuses her practice on representing clients in high-exposure and high-risk litigation, including casualty and complex tort, negligence and premises liability, professional negligence, construction defect, and commercial matters. Drawing on strong oral advocacy skills and extensive trial, arbitration and mediation experience, Alex has represented health care providers and other commercial clients in complex, high-exposure litigation matters in state and federal courts, taking a strategic, client-focused approach to achieve favorable outcomes.
Before joining the firm, Alex was an associate at a national Am Law 200 firm, where she managed an active litigation caseload involving professional negligence matters on behalf of healthcare professionals and corporate entities, including health systems, hospitals, urgent care centers, and behavioral health facilities. She also conducted internal investigations involving compliance and white collar issues and advised clients on the review, revision, and development of their policies and procedures.
Alex also has experience representing commercial transportation companies, motor carriers, and hospitality businesses throughout all stages of civil litigation. In addition, she second-chaired two medical malpractice jury trials that resulted in defense verdicts.
Alex earned her J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she served as the Director of External Competitions on the Moot Court Board. While in law school, Alex served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Steven C. Tolliver of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. She was also a student attorney for the Farmworker Legal Aid Clinic.
Outside of her practice, Alex enjoys spending time with her husband and their Cavapoo, trying new workout classes, listening to true crime podcasts, and making the most of weekends at the beach with her family and friends.
