Rachael focuses her practice on fraud and recovery matters, with an emphasis in corporate theft and insurance fraud. She counsels property and casualty insurers in the detection, investigation, and litigation of complex insurance fraud schemes. Drawing on her experience supporting complex federal investigations, Rachael assists clients in identifying and pursuing fraud-related claims through all stages of investigation and litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Rachael worked with the Federal Bureau of Investigation under the Chief Division Counsel, where she collaborated with special agents and intelligence analysts on investigations involving white collar crime, crimes against children, violent crime and gangs, and counterterrorism. Rachael also served a six month term as a law clerk to the Honorable Renée Marie Bumb, Chief U.S.D.J., of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Additionally, Rachael represented members of the Rutgers community in various immigration matters, including asylum applications, special immigration status, DACA, and family-based petitions during her fellowship with the Rutgers Immigrant Community Assistance Program while in law school.
Rachael earned her J.D., cum laude and with the Dean’s Pro Bono Publico Award for Exceptional Service with Distinction, from Rutgers Law School in 2024, where she was a member of the 2024 class of Eagleton Graduate Fellows and served as an executive editor of the Rutgers International Law and Human Rights Journal. She received her B.A., cum laude with leadership distinction, in political science from the University of South Carolina. Rachael is also a licensed EMT.
