The 24th Annual Midyear Program promises a vast array of panels on hot topics in insurance coverage featuring a diverse group of insurance professionals, from coverage counsel to insurers to judges and in-house risk managers and insurance specialists.
Gary Gassman of the Global Insurance Department and Chair of the TIPS Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee, will be starting the program off with the welcome and opening remarks. Several other Cozen O'Connor attorneys will be speaking at the program throughout the two days.
T. David Higgins of the Subrogation & Recovery department will be moderating a panel titled "Lizards Loose in the Courtroom: Representing the Carrier Client in the Age of Reptile Advocacy."
Janet Davis of the Global Insurance Department will be moderating a panel titled "You're a Professional – So Act Like One: Latest Developments in E&O Coverage and Claims."
The program will also feature a number of toolbox lunch sessions, giving attendees an opportunity to engage in lively discussions on a number of emerging topics in small group discussions led by a variety of speakers from all areas of the insurance coverage industry. Deborah Minkoff will lead a Toolbox Luncheon session titled "Claims Made Practice: Current Issues & Trends" and Alycen Moss and Lynnette Espy-Williams will lead "Rescission: An Underutilized Tool.":
