Joe Bedwick, a member of Cozen O'Connor's Corporate Practice, and George Voegele, a member of Cozen O'Connor's Labor & Employment Department, will be speaking at this event in Philadelphia. This workshop will discuss Pennsylvania's new Medical Marijuana Act. Signed in 2016, the act will establish the basis for which medical marijuana businesses can operate. The discussion will educate members on the provisions in the act, particularly Chapter 20 and the current state of permitting and legal registrants. The discussion will also cover how medical marijuana impacts employment law to include information for HR professionals counseling employers.
