Joseph Tilson, co-chair of Cozen O’Connor’s Labor & Employment Department, discusses the meaningfulness of being an employment attorney and the ability for young attorneys to get involved. Although employment law has its share of class and collective actions, many of the cases are small and manageable, which gives younger attorneys the opportunity to accrue some serious experience points early on, Joseph said. “It’s a really fun, people-oriented practice, and you know any given day, you will be dealing with people of all types, from people in board room to people on factory floor and everyone in between,” adds Joseph.
