David Barron, a member of Cozen O'Connor's Labor & Employment department, discusses how much the minimum wage should increase on Manta. According to Manta’s new minimum wage poll, which was segmented by industry, small business owners in the construction and business/professional services sectors expressed the most support for a higher minimum wage. “Small business sectors that involve professionals and higher-skilled labor tend to be more progressive and supportive of social causes like living wage initiatives,” said David. “These sectors tend to be the least affected and can generally afford to pay more … so they view the measure as acceptable.”
