Philadelphia, February 17, 2016 – Joseph Tilson, co-chair of Cozen O’Connor’s Labor and Employment Department, and Kyle Vos Strache, member of the Intellectual Property Department, were named Client Choice 2016 winners on February 10, 2016 at a gala dinner held in London. The Client Choice survey was conducted by International Law Office (ILO) and Lexology polling only senior corporate counsel. From a pool of more than 2,000 individual client assessments, 383 individuals were selected internationally, and 223 were included in the USA & Canada edition. This is the second time that Tilson has won this award. Vos Strache was also honored with the Legal Intelligencer’s Lawyer on the Fast Track Award in 2015.
Tilson represents employers in large scale employment litigation and labor arbitrations. In the past 30 years, he has tried more than 150 jury and non-jury cases before the full range of courts, administrative agencies and labor arbitrators. He is nationally known for his knowledge and success in handling large wage and hour class action cases, but he also has vast experience in collective bargaining involving large and complex bargaining units. Joe is a fellow of the College of Labor & Employment Lawyers, and is the former chair of the American Bar Association’s Federal Labor Standards Legislation Committee. He currently serves on the ABA’s Council, the governing body of the ABA’s Labor and Employment Law Section.
Vos Strache focuses his practice on patent prosecution, enforcement, counseling, patent interference, trademark enforcement, and patent, trademark and copyright litigation. He works with clients to evaluate their patent portfolios and seeks ways to maximize breadth and coverage of patent portfolios in both the United States and foreign jurisdictions. His primary practice areas include pharmaceutical and chemical compounds, drugs and therapeutic compositions, biologics, as well as mechanical and medical devices.
