Scott Bettridge, chair of Cozen O'Connor's Immigration practice, discusses what the Trump era could mean for business immigration in Law360. During the presidential campaign, Trump took a hard, protectionist line when it came to international trade issues, vowing to renegotiate NAFTA or to pull out of the trade bloc altogether. But backing out of NAFTA would have consequences beyond trade, including losing TN visas for Canadians and Mexicans that are part of the current trade agreement, according to Scott.
