Scott Bettridge, chair of Cozen O'Connor's Immigration practice, discusses immigration policies to watch in Law360. The Trump administration has laid the groundwork for an active slate of immigration policy in the second half of the year, including moves on H-1B visas, mandatory E-Verify and the possible revocation of DACA. Scott anticipates that while there may be prospective talks about eliminating the H-1B cap entirely and replacing it with a "merit-based" system, he does not expect any changes in the short term.
