CHICAGO, June 15, 2017 — Chambers Global has recognized Cozen O’ Connor attorneys Susan Eisenberg, Paul Dowsey, and Joseph Tilson as three worldwide leaders in their respective practices.

Eisenberg and Tilson are recognized in labor and employment law, and Dowsey is recognized in insurance: reinsurance. All three are also recognized in their respective national guides – with Eisenberg and Tilson ranked in the Chambers USA Guide, and Dowsey ranked in Chambers UK.

The annual Chambers Global rankings are based on client and peer references from around the world as well as information gathered from Chambers’ independent research. Attorneys are ranked in their practice areas based on their legal knowledge and experience, their ability, their effectiveness, and their client service.

Tilson, co-chair of Cozen O’Connor’s Labor & Employment Department, and co-managing partner of the firm’s Chicago office, has also been ranked in the Chambers USA guide since 2004. He is highlighted in the rankings as an attorney with “… a long-established practice that has brought him before state and federal courts, alongside administrative judges and arbitrators [and] is described by peers as "a great lawyer" known throughout the United States for his labor and employment prowess.” Tilson has also been recognized by Chambers Global as a Labor & Employment “Leader in the Field.”

Eisenberg, a member in the firm’s Miami office, has also been ranked in the Chambers USA guide since 2004. She is similarly highlighted in the rankings as “first-rate” and “…is highly esteemed for her extensive experience handling wage and hour, non-compete and discrimination concerns.” She is nationally known for her proficiency in wage and hour class action cases. In addition, Eisenberg is board certified by The Florida Bar in Labor and Employment, a fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, and a certified mediator and arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association.

Dowsey, a member of the firm's Insurance Department and office managing partner of the firm's London office, was recognized by clients for his cross-border experience, particularly his work in Chilean matters. He has direct and facultative international business with an emphasis on mining, power generation, construction, engineering, industrial process, oil and gas, as well as considerable claims experience in South America, Europe, Africa, and the Far East.

Cozen O’Connor President & CEO Michael J. Heller said of the accolades, “We are very proud of our Chambers Global recognitions. Joe, Susan, and Paul continue to exemplify our increasingly global reach and international success.”
