Texas Employers In Limbo Amid State, City Sick Leave Fight

David Barron discussed with Law360 about the legislative session in Texas as lawmakers advance bills that would bar cities from enacting local employment rules. And the friction has employers who operate in Texas or in multiple states “pulling their hair out,” said David. “It's a constant complaint from companies to their elected representatives,” he said. “I think what most people would like is to have as broad a uniform law as possible.”
