NEW YORK, April 10, 2026 – Anupama Joglekar, a member of the firm’s Global Insurance Department and co-chair of the firm’s Casualty & Specialty Lines Coverage group, has been named to the 2026 National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) Rising List. This is Anu’s second time being named to the NAWL Rising List, following her initial recognition in 2021. The NAWL Rising List is by invitation only and recognizes early- to mid-career attorneys committed to NAWL’s mission by either advancing women in the profession or advocating for women under the law. Since 1899, NAWL has been empowering women in the legal profession, cultivating a diverse membership dedicated to equality, mutual support, and collective success.
Anu’s practice is focused on complex insurance coverage litigation and counseling, as well as insurance defense litigation. She represents domestic and international insurers in coverage matters involving commercial general liability, Bermuda form excess liability, employment practices liability, professional liability and homeowners insurance policies. Her work includes coverage disputes involving bodily injury, personal injury, property damage, environmental contamination, toxic tort and bad faith claims. In both insurance coverage and insurance defense matters, Anu has managed disputes through all phases of pre-trial litigation, including drafting pleadings, preparing and arguing procedural and substantive motions, conducting written discovery and taking depositions. Anu also evaluates policy language and advises clients on coverage obligations, particularly in connection with issues such as late notice and the availability of additional insured coverage.
