Jeannette Aucoin is a trusted family lawyer in Vancouver with extensive experience in divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, property division, and complex trust matters. In addition to her family law practice, Jeannette is a recognized leader in fertility and reproductive technology law. With nearly a decade of experience in this highly specialized area, she advises clients across Canada and internationally on surrogacy agreements, fertility law compliance, and ova and sperm donation agreements. Jeannette is one of the few family lawyers in Vancouver with extensive knowledge in navigating the Assisted Human Reproduction Act. She also contributed to the inaugural chapter and 2024 update of the BC Family Law Practice and Procedure Manual chapter on fertility law.

Before joining Cozen O’Connor’s family law team in Vancouver, Jeannette was a partner at one of Western Canada’s top-ranked law firms. She began her legal career at a full-service law firm in Richmond, B.C. Jeannette holds a B.A. from the University of Victoria and a J.D. from Thompson Rivers University. She continues to give back to the legal community through her volunteer work with the Access Pro Bono Society of B.C.
