His litigation focus includes handling complex contract disputes, defending lender liability claims against lenders and creditors, and managing shareholder disputes involving breach of fiduciary duty, wrongful acts by corporate officials, or oppression of minority shareholders. Additionally, he resolves disputes arising from business or real estate transactions, defends against claims of negligence or breach of duty by businesses or their employees, and advises clients on strategies to mitigate exposure to commercial liability and the risk of litigation.

John joined the firm along with his colleagues from Moss & Barnett in 2026. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School. He earned his M.A. in theology from St. Johns University and his B.A., cum laude, from St. Meinrad College.
