Mike represents financial services providers, collection agencies, and commercial businesses in matters involving consumer protection defense, regulatory compliance, and commercial collection. He is known for combining practical business insight with deep knowledge of evolving federal and state regulations to help clients manage risk and maintain compliance.
Mike regularly advises on developments affecting Regulation E and E-SIGN, data-breach and privacy laws, licensing renewals, and consumer protection requirements. As a committed advocate for creditors’ rights, Mike defends clients in litigation involving the FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, and other consumer protection statutes. He focuses on early risk assessment, efficient strategy, and achieving favorable results.
In the commercial collection space, Mike is recognized for his ability to drive strong recovery outcomes, even in challenging situations. He helps clients determine when to litigate and when early resolution is the strategic choice, and he frequently facilitates payment arrangements so clients can stay focused on running and growing their businesses.
Mike joined the firm in 2026 along with his colleagues from Moss & Barnett. He earned his B.S., cum laude, from Marist College and his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law.
