Andrew helps startups, middle-market businesses, and Fortune 500 companies solve complex legal problems, recover losses from fraud, manage risk, and achieve their strategic objectives.

Andrew represents businesses across a diverse range of industries — including health care, aviation, aerospace, energy, financial services, insurance, and technology — in complex disputes, investigations, and negotiations. His practice is focused on helping organizations navigate legal challenges that impact their operations, profitability, and long-term growth. Andrew regularly handles complex commercial litigation, fraud investigations, and recovery matters. He regularly represents businesses and other institutions in matters involving health care fraud, reimbursement disputes, financial misconduct, and multistate fraud schemes. Working closely with clients from the earliest stages of an investigation through trial or resolution, Andrew develops strategic approaches to identify misconduct, maximize recovery opportunities, and reduce future exposure.

In addition to his litigation practice, Andrew represents startups, managing general agents (MGAs), managing general underwriters (MGUs), and reinsurers in transactional matters. He also advises employers, founders, and executives in employment and shareholder disputes, and defends management and executives in disputes arising under federal and state employment laws. His practice is grounded in helping clients navigate complex commercial disputes, business torts, and related negotiations.

Prior to joining Cozen O’Connor, Andrew was a partner in the Insurance Fraud and Recovery practice at an Am Law 50 firm. Currently, Andrew serves on the National Board of Directors of the Federal Bar Association, whose mission is to strengthen the federal legal system and administration of justice by serving the interests and the needs of the federal practitioner, both public and private, the federal judiciary and the public they serve. [ES1.1][AL1.2]While in law school, Andrew served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Beth Bloom in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court for Miami Dade County. Prior to embarking on his legal career, Andrew also served as an intern in the United States Senate and as the president of a multinational nonprofit organization.
