Emma Nunn

Associate

Emma is an experienced trial attorney in both state and federal courts who practices life insurance and annuity matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Emma represented businesses and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation, often handling matters relating to general liability, personal injury, product liability, and premises liability. She has also managed cases from inception through resolution involving maritime arbitration and maritime personal injury matters.

Additionally, Emma has tried more than 20 cases as first chair while serving as an Assistant State Attorney at the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office.

Emma earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she was an editor of the North Carolina Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation. During law school, Emma served as a legal intern at the Mecklenburg County District Attorney's Office and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Frank D. Whitney of the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina. She also received an award for having over 100 hours of pro bono work.

Emma received her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
