Sharon is a litigator who represents insurance carriers in property damage, general liability, and personal injury matters in state and federal courts. She handles all phases of litigation, from intake and strategy through depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial, and counsels insurers on coverage issues involving homeowners, commercial general liability, and automobile policies.
Most recently, Sharon was a senior litigation associate at civil litigation law firm in Atlanta, representing insureds and carriers in a broad range of civil matters and insurance coverage disputes. She brings extensive first-chair courtroom experience, a strong command of evidentiary rules, and a practical, solutions‑oriented approach to resolving complex disputes. Before entering private practice, she served in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, first as an assistant district attorney and later as a senior assistant district attorney, where she tried more than 40 bench trials with a 95% conviction rate. In 2016, she was honored with the title of Juvenile Attorney of the Year for her dedication in handling juvenile cases. In 2013, Sharon was recognized as the Non-Complex Attorney of the Year for her work in managing and resolving cases efficiently. During her time in law school, she received the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Administrative Law. She began her career with internships and fellowships at the Fulton County DA’s Office, the Delaware Department of Justice, and Advo‑Kids CASA/Barton Clinic.
Sharon earned her law degree from Emory University School of Law and her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Rochester.
