The CLM Claims College was established in 2012 and enlisted some of the industry's leading professionals to create and teach courses. Since its inception, hundreds of students have attended the Claims College and nearly 150 have earned their CCP (Certified Claims Professional) designation.
The College has expanded to a total of eight three-level specialty schools and two one-level schools with more on the horizon. Students must pass all three levels of a school to earn their CCP. Each level consists of pre-course reading materials, in-class instruction, group projects and an exam. The School of Claims Mediation is a one-year program and students who successfully complete that program earn a certificate in claims mediation.
Tom Jones will be presenting at the School of Casualty Claims, Irene Yesowitch will be presenting at the Schools of Construction and Extra-Contractual Claims, and Anne Blume will be speaking on the Executive Council for the School of Professional Lines.
