Dazia focuses her practice on insurance coverage matters, advising insurance companies and other industry stakeholders in support of their business objectives.
Before entering private practice, Dazia gained experience in litigation, constitutional law, and public policy as a legal extern with the American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia, where she researched potential constitutional issues in proposed legislation, prepared open records requests, and drafted pleadings and amicus briefs in support of litigation and advocacy efforts. She also served as a committee administrative assistant in the Louisiana House of Representatives, drafting budget amendments and analyzing proposed legislation.
With a passion for pro bono work, Dazia currently works with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program to provide legal resources and support to those in need. She has also worked as a digital strategist for the Houston Public Library, expanding technology access in underserved communities, and as a public policy intern with the Institute of Urban Policy Research & Analysis, preparing policy briefs and supporting community engagement initiatives.
Dazia earned her J.D., with honors, from Emory School of Law in 2025, where she concentrated her studies on Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution. She received her B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 2020.
Outside of her practice, Dazia enjoys jazz, exploring scenic nature trails, and relaxing with her dog.
