Nate is a real estate and business attorney. He represents real estate clients in acquisitions, sales, 1031 exchanges, development, leasing, and financing. He also serves as an external general counsel for business clients, providing counsel in matters such as mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, financing and general business matters. Nate’s business practice includes specific concentrations with dealerships (automobile, marine and equipment) and professional services.
Nate also represents lenders in commercial loan transactions. Nate's involvement in the financial sector is further highlighted by his service on the board of directors of a Minnesota bank and its holding company, including serving on the bank’s director loan committee.
Nate joined the firm in 2026 along with his colleagues from the Minneapolis law firm of Moss & Barnett. He earned his B.A., cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis and his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, where he served as the executive editor of the Iowa Law Review.
