Cozen O'Connor established its Miami office in 2006 to fulfill the needs of the firm’s local and international clients. The firm's office, situated in the heart of the downtown Miami business district, serves clients ranging from large multinational corporations to individuals and closely held entrepreneurial businesses. The firm expanded the Miami office after adding 14 Intellectual Property litigators from a nationally recognized, intellectual property law firm.
Accommodating the needs of the firm’s domestic clients as well as its clients in Latin America, the Miami office focuses its practice in the areas of general litigation, commercial litigation, immigration and a full range of corporate matters. The litigators in our Miami office have significant experience defending airlines and aviation component manufacturers, representing employers in various aspects of employment litigation, and handling complex tort litigation and products liability matters. Our transactional attorneys advise on a multitude of complex business transactions, including domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, financings, operational and general corporate matters, and corporate governance. Our IP attorneys represent and counsels internet and computer software companies and web development companies on how to protect and optimize the value of their trade secrets and internet rights.
